She’s a weirdo!
Katherine Mc Gregor, a nineteen years old young girl, who likes repairing cars, wants to be the chief mechanic in Chevrolet competition team. This is strange for a girl teenager, because she prefeers spending time in the garage or watching car races on Tv instead of going shopping, to a party or to the disco like other girls. She is happy with all this and she does not mind other people’s opinion.
She was born in Detroit, her parents are Irish, her mother mis a housewife and her father was a car race driver who had an accident. So he could not drive anymore. They have lived there since she was a baby. She attended an elementary school and she left high school after her father’s accident.
She works in her father’s garage from nine to seven on weekdays. She cleans the tools, repairs the cars, buys spare parts, checks the engines and her father checks her job. They enjoy going to the car races at weekends.
People think that if she shared more time with her mother or other girls, it would be better for her. But this is her choice of life.
She has decided to work in the garage for a few years until the car she is preparing will be ready to run and win the NASCAR.
